hmm, lets see, 2 $199 ones in 4 yrs = $900 in 10 yrs and the OEM one is $584... makes agco pretty cheapIJ. Make sure the bin loading auger is in its correct position to fill bin in center. Also the auger from Agco is one gauge thicker in the main flighting than the others you mentioned - or used to be- and end secitons are 1_4" and chromed. And now balanced - again or supposed to be. See if a dealer would get one on a stock order and discountit a tad.

agco's are the one's that are not lasting. 2 auger's in 4 year's are agco. can get 10% off on stock order. it seem's to much money to keep spending every 2 year's for the auger.$584x2=$1168 in 4 years.why cant agco have part's next day like deereIJ were it does not cost u a arm and a leg with ups or fedx.

Keith, You have a legitamate complaint. Chrome should last three to five times black iron. Rumor had a while back that AGCO changed chrome suppliers. Chroming is getting to be verrrry expensive do to EPA issues. Might be that they are trying to reduce cost by thinning the chrome.(Wrong Move!)Or they may have changed because of the issue you are seeing. Have you checked with Abilene Machine in Kansas or Worthington Ag PartsIJ They are two of the largest stocking loewen distributors in the US. Hope you find one. Hyper Harvest II
