Have always thought that the long toothed chaffer was to much for soybeans but did not want to change back and fourth between crops. I have a peterson adjustable chaffer now but am not sure that is the right thing. It takes to much cleaning when switching to beans after corn. I think it has more to do with how well the rotor is set and your concave is adjusted as to how much shoe load you are giving. Not the same for all conditions.
