Combines f2 thrashing clutch slipping

assume you are turning ring COUNTER ClOCK WISE to tighten. Remove the clutch and check for pressure plate warping or a link pin half out of the flywheel bosses. Also have seen threads strip and the nut jumps a few threads when snapped in.

I have had the throw out hub wear enough on the shaft to allow the clutch throw out to not go over center and stay. A build up of soybean dust on the clutch plate could cause a false adjustment.
