Combines floor kit and rotor update

posum didn't you put a pricision rotor in your combineIJ I thought I remember you putting one in. how's it working or didn't itIJ Tks. Bob

Yes we did--and it works well. We had some seed beans that the stalk was so rotten it would grind up and all go on the shoe so we put the 8--bar back in with half the bars off and sweeps. Had some time to play with it with all this rain. Really like the sweeps from Dan. Very smooth.

Yes it's better at low rpm 300--450 for these seed beans. The pfp is very good in wheat --probaly the best-- and very smooth at higher speeds. We should have had the seed beans out a month ago but with all the rain the stalk is near rotten now and grinding up and going to the shoe. We had most of the stuff around the shop to try this except the sweeps which came from Dan Hurtt. We left off half the bars in a staggard pattern to see if we could stop grinding the stalk up. We will still run the pfp in wheat and corn. hope this helps. Brooks
