yes, if you are re to steep pitch transitioned into reg pitch. The steep pitch over the thresher will move material and prevent a lot of second pass threshing that occurs with reg pitch helicals. less hp requirement is biggest reward.
The discharge helical set up along with the cylinder bars extended into discharge wil fix the problem of all the material trying to go through the right hand side of the chopper. The chopper hammers will ware more evenly and the chopper won't slug nearly as much.
