Word from service is 450'ns , they have gone as high as 600 with out damage to nut or threads.

wouldnt ask a question like this normally but had a torque wrench and 60mm socket to do job proper. most times its gritted teeth and barked nuckles when the old shifter slips is when its tight. pretty dry here in central nsw with wheat just comming into head and yield est. starting to go south (from south).
