As soon as you hear the clutch slip kick the seperator out and run around to the elevator and open it up. Usually you can get there before the machine stops turning and it will kick out a bunch of material. What ever is in there is causing your problem. We always had a huge amount of wheat chaff, regardless of the weed situation.

Check the distribution of threshed material coming from the concaves. You might be overloading one side of the chaffer and need to make some adjustments to even things out.
