Combines Massey 850 grain tank

The weak point would be your tires. The rest of the machine would take it. The 860 has the same final drives and the same ,only wider, axel. and a 200bu grain tank. Most of those extensions add about 40bu. to the grain tank of the 850. I had a set on a 750 and had no trouble. But I had 30.5 X 32 tires.Your tires might be enough, it would depend on what size of header you have. Good luck! Joe

Dan the 850 held 150 bushells standard, with the extensions 180 bushells. One of our 850's came with it and Massey pulled it off before we took delivery.Ithink the main reason was that at 180 bush. it would hold the same as a 860 and they did not want to put the ext. on the 860's as weight then became a problem on the final drives although the 800 series drives were uprated. We tend to drive our combines a lot faster in Australia and Massey just played it safe. Also 23.1 30's are already loaded to the the limit, you will need at least 24.5 32's.There is an extension of about a foot that goes in the clean grain elevator to lift it up as well. john litster
