Combines lateral tilt acting up

Hey, remember that combine demo derby I was talking to you earlierIJ Nothing is more frustrating than when your have problems with the "technical" side of your combine. A belt or a bearing is sometimes a lot easier to handle than a $12 micro switch.

Had a similar problem on our TR88 and it was the micro switches on head, it tested fine on the machine but when I took it off it had faults. I had to disconnect it to find this out. I did the same looking at solenoids and circuits but it was the switch. The lights indicated it was working but it was fighting itself to go both directions at once And yes operating other functions had some effect on correction of tilt, go figure. Good luck.

I have seen similar stuff with our 86, sometimes when you hit the manual tilt button, it clicks but does not tilt, then you let off and hit it again and it will work. We did not have any problems with the flex head this year though, so we didn't look into it. Hope it doesn't get worse.
