Your MAV must be an older version, we put one on our 480r this year and that was how it was set up, the chopping knives were the serated ones, the fan blades in the squirrel cage helped create the velocity, it worked great spreading over 36ft.even in peas.

Both the new and old doors are haveing the same problems in this area. NewHolland is currently reveiwing the information to see is a change up or new door latch is required.

I am only a NewHolland Tech. But I have had limited experience with the newer case tractors.

we ran a number of different newholland combines this year a 840, 860, and two 970's if i had my choice would pick a 970 next would be an 860 the 860 is not far of a 970 but the 970 would still out preform all.
