Have you checked what Machinery link asksIJ It is more like $140 per hour for combine with head. That's not cheap.

Our harvest went pretty well. Had to switch between corn and soybeans near the end because we didnt quite finish bean harvest when the rains came. Yields were average to above average. I know I cannot match the acres per hr with my Tr99 especially not in W. Wheat which we usually start combining at 17% moisture. Also Corn is harvest at 25-30% moisture. I am doing my books right now so I can figure out the cost to run my combine. hopefully I shall have some numbers in the new year. peter
