I have absolutely no idea of how to respond in an "insightful" way to such an asinine posting. I can't imagine why but it would seem you intentionally want to anger the many Canadians who frequent this site, and shame your fellow Americans who have more common sense and decency than you do. Where to start...First off, what is the point of your postIJ You can't seriously be trying to comment on Agco or Cat with this type of drivel, so the only purpose of your post must be to spout off about Canada. Therefore my response to the first part of your posting is that it has no business being here in the first place. Second. Yes, Canada has a French speaking component and an English speaking component. Although our multicultural country sometimes gets carried away with political correctness gone mad, I am proud that we have forged a nation starting from such a fractured beginning. I see that as a sign of strength and intelligence, rather than a fault as you would seem to imply that it is. "Canada wants to take in our deserters" is perplexing. To what are you referring toIJ I don't see a big line of people looking to get in and I certainly don't see a big red carpet and billboards inviting them. Hell, if they wanted to come to Canada, so be it. It's a free country. What really enrages me is your statement of "Canada acts like it is equal to the USA (sic) even though they have no army to speak of." For starters, it is foolish to measure a country solely by it's armed forces. The world takes Japan and Switzerland seriously doesn't itIJ If you want to talk about our countries military history, bring it on because we have a proud and distinguished one. Canada has never lost a war. We do not dodge just conflicts. The only major conflicts we have not been involved with in our history are the Vietnam war and the second Gulf War, both of which are now viewed with skepticism in the rear view mirror. We do not pick fights, but when the world has needed help, we have been there. We were the finest Western Front shock troops in World War One, so good that our movements had to be kept a secret as the Germans knew where we were moving meant an attack was imminent. We were the first soldiers to come under chemical warfare attack at Ypres but held the line while others ran. We battled at Paschendale, the Somme, and took Vimy Ridge which no other force had been able to overcome. We did not wait to join late. In the second world war we joined the fray from 1939, and we ended the war with the worlds third largest navy and the fourth largest air force. We were slaughtered at Dieppe so that Stalin could see we were serious about a second front. We took one of the beaches on D-Day, Juno beach, and got payback by advancing farther that day than any other group. We went on to liberate part of France, most of Holland, and played an integral role. This is not to mention the countless convoys we escorted and u-boat actions we took during the battle of the north Atlantic, nor our contributions to the air war with bomber and fighter crews of the RCAF. We were in Korean under the U.N. flag and, came up with the concept of a peacekeeping force that has since saved thousands of lives, and have committed more troops to that cause than any other nation. We are currently deployed in Afhganistan helping with your "war on terror" and are peacekeeping in a dozen other hot spots around the globe. I am the first to admit that our armed forces have declined in the last 15 years, but that is more due to politics, economics, and a lack of a defined mission since the cold war ended than a lack of pride or wilingness to fight. I don't know you. I know nothing of what would make you post an inflammatory message like this. All I can say is that I hope your views are not typical of the vast majority of Americans. There have always been bones of contention between our countries, your current blatant cheating in trade in soft wood lumber, and beef are the latest, but as a whole our countries have a long standing frienship. Canadians have been great allies and respected partners. I hope Americans with more class than you recognize this. As for youIJ The world doesn't need people like you.

Your statement makes no sense! I find it difficult to follow (poor overall grammar: lacks the proper verb_ subject useage, that most who are educated in the 1st and 2nd worlds require for proper daily_natural communication). Remember, grammar speaks volumes about a persons level of education and memory retension capacity. Consider having an elementary student proof your work prior to it being published.

What a jerk. Just trying to start another colour war. Take your comments and stuff them where the sun dosen't shine. I certainly hope more American Citizens will tell you the same.

This guy has "pigman" written all over him. You should remember from last falls posting on here. He's best ignored, he'll soon be deleted and exiled.

Good advice 560. This guy is only looking to ruffle feathers. It is easy to make statements as he did when you can hide behind email and talk sites like this one. I would venture to say he would not have much to say on the topic if we were all in a room together. Best solution is if no one responds to "catmandont". He can then continue to talk to himself because surely nobody else is listening. Besides, I thought this site was to hear others experiences on combines not talk about USA vs CanadaIJ Hey catmandont, I am certain there are sites for your kind. How about finding one and stop wasting our time!

Buckshot, I do agree with you and with everyone who has commented about this NITWIT. I do wish the canadians would have been with us on Iraq though, I am sorry, Saddam was a bastard and it was time for him to go. Too much evidence is coming out now to say it is skeptical about us going over and not only freeing the Iraqi's but also freeing the world of a major threat to the safety of civil nations. Russia even has said they had recieved several messages, that Iraq was planning an attack on the USA. Not to change the subject on this message about the NITWIT, he is exactly the type of person that shouldnt be in control of anything, he cant even control himself!!!!!!
