Two years ago we used a 465 to take half our wheat off. We set the header just above the water and went all day long like that. The tracks would never sink more than a few inches, but the rear tires were in up to two feet sometimes. The 600 metrics are too small for the back. We have a 485 now with 28l-26 on the back, much better. last week we finished a field for a neighbor, with a honeybee on the front and half full grain tank, we were starting to leave some pretty good ruts. We used to run deeres on singles with rice tires. They were fine on clay, but on sandy ground you could put them to the frame in a second. Too make a long story short, they are not unsinkable, but they'll go through a lot.
