Dad has said that the spockets were turned around on the ends of the head to speed it up alitte. Don't think it makes a lot of diff what the tooth count is if it works. HTH Keith K

Stock configuration is 24T in back driving a 30T in front. That's the way we run 643 heads on 7700's, and it works fine. You could run it 30_30, but I think 24_30 would be a better match for a 4400. You probably won't need that extra speed, and it's nice to be able to slow it way down when conditions warrant. That's my 2 cents.

I have the weight of the 343 in my manual-can probably just add about 20-25%, I will look it up tomorrow and get back to you.
