Combines 8570 and macdon header won t feed

is the macdon delivery canvas moving faster than the feeder chainIJ that i think would be a problem. you might have to adjust the speed of the canvas or speed up the feederhouse. or is it a feeding problemIJ does the material have to bend down or up to flow into the feederhouseIJ

we extended the feeder house chain foreward, to remove some of the dead spot. It helped some. I am going to check the speed of the belts to see if there is a difference. thank you

check to make sure that the feeder chain is running as low as possible. there are stops on the front and on either side of the feeder house. make sure that they are allowing the chain to run in the down position. I ran a Macdon for 10 years, got a Massey 5000 last year, much better feeding header than the Macdon. good luck Neil
