I have a 97 9400 with 3500 hrs and have never thrown a hammer. It has a shaft that goes from one side to the other holding the hammers in.I replaced the hammers at 2400 hrs, along with new shafts.

you have the newer style tri-rotor chopper. i currently dont have that and am wondering if it is worth the update

I have a complete and straight tri rotor for a 94-9500 with excellent hammers sitting on a pallet for $800 if you need one..
