Combines 9600 vs 8780xp

I'll put my money on the MF every time. Haven't compared them in milo, but the 8780XP will outcut Deere conventional every time with cleaner sample and lower losses. Corn, no contest. The Massey, in my opinion, is quite probably the best corn_soybean combine on the market for grain quality and capacity. I know you said you weren't planning to change, but in my opinion, you should. If not for performance, for cost of upkeep, where the MF puts everyone to shame, especially the JD. Sinful how little it costs to run the MF from year to year, a credit to its simple and efficient design.

WE do not cut much corn but in 230+ corn we were cutting 5.5mph with 8 row 30 inch cornhead and were rolling out about 3300bu an hour. Our cost for breaking down has been 0 for 3 harvest seasons now.The 9600 is going to stay for a long while but I bet the Massey is a good machine. We had a 510 at one time harder than h**l to work on. We didnt go back and now dont have a massey dealer within 100 miles our Deere dealer is 6 miles.
