i would recomend recovering the system and starting over you need to get the pressure down some how when you charge system it should only hold 4 1_4 pounds to 5 pounds max pressues will depend on the day high side will be 175 to 250 psi low side will be from 20 to about 5 depending on the outside temp good luck
