Combines Auger extentions for R70 and N6

We have a 1981 N6 and a 1989 R50, and my brother just extended the auger on his N6. He ordered up a new unloading collar from Abeline Machine and had a friend weld up a three ft. section on the end of the collar. He then purchased a 3ft. section of auger flighting from the local salvage yard and then welded it to the existing auger flighting. He then put the new tube on. He just completed it a few months ago, and everything seems to work fine. I guess we'll find out this summer! We are thinking about doing it to the R50 also.

Don't try to use an extension on a 40_50 or M_l unloader as they just won't take the extra weight leverage either on the chain, hydraulic cylinder or the pivot bearings inside the elbow. Those things can even fall off!
