Camels don't only survive best in the desert, but in other places as well. They are said to be low-maintenance animals that are cold-hardy and heat-resistant. Is it viable to raise them since they produce lots of milk?

I'm not sure whether they produce a bunch of milk or not. But think about this, what purpose will camels serve for you? How will they earn their keep? Are there many American's drinking up some camel's milk? I don't know of any, but maybe you could score a deal with a fancy restaurant.

If you were opening a petting zoo, you could use them to give the kids rides for an additional fee. You could lease them to churches for nativity scenes. I don't know if that would be cruel though. Not sure how they'd get treated by people who don't raise animals. I can see how they'd make you money.
