750.00 includes us pulling it out and shipping but it needs new blades - not incl in price. I think this is in line w_ salvage places if not we will make it right..

Id recommend the fine cut chopper kit, you can go with either the Gleaner kit or there is a jobber kit. There is No comparison in quality of chop job between the original and the fine cut

I remove the knives under the beater. But I run a stripper head. I also run without knives picking up Millet.

I pull the stationary knives out and run the chopper in the slow (corn) setting. No faster than the knives are spinning, I wouldn't think the straw would be getting chopped at all. Are you sure your rotor isn't the culpritIJ Good luck! Craig
