This looks much nicer than the old friendship bracelets we used to make as kids. I always have tons of beads lying around - just me? It's fun for kids, but it's also a good craft to help protect chickens and rabbits from hawks if you use beads that have a glare to them. When the sun hits the beads, the glare will blind the hawk which gives the animals time to escape. They'll also blow about in the wind, which helps deter some predators as well.
