Combines Decoding Deere corn and all crop heads

1st n indicates the n of row. 443=4 row, 643 = 6 row, etc. 2nd 2 numbers indicate the series and speacing. Those ending in 3 are 30" rows, those ending in 4 are wide rows. For example a 1243 would be a 12 row-40 series, 30" row head. A 644 would be 6 row-40 series, wide row (36" or 38") head. Row crop heads were only made for a while, subsitute the middle (series) 4 with a 5 to make a row crow-for example while an 843 is an 8 row corn head, and 853 would be an 8 row row crow head. Update on numbering first number is number of rows 4-12 (example 694 or 1293) second is model 4 - 40 Series corn head 1970-1993 5 - 50 series row crop 1974-1978 5A - 50A Series row crop 1979 - 2002 9 - 90 Series corn head 1994 - --- third is row spacing 0 - 20in 1 - 22in 2 - 70_75Cm (export to Europe) 3 - 30in 4 - 36_38in
