Combines Dial a matic questions

IF your 224 flexheader is a newer one it may have the pressure sensitive Dial-A-Matic switch on it. If its an older one it will have the cam_microswitch setup assuming no body removed it. You can get a short adapter wire that will plug into your DAM harness on your combine and uses the three wire connecter on the older Automatic Header Hight harness on the platform. My 216 header has this older system on it, as does my 4400. The only real difference in the systems is the DAM has an electronic box on the combine and a position dial added in the cab. Otherwise a 4420 for instace with DAM is the same as one with AHHC. Once you get the switches adjusted you should not have to ever mess with them again.
