Gas going into muffler

One of my older ATV vehicles has been having some issues. I thought it was a carb issue but I'm not sure. When I start it, gasoline literally runs out the muffler. It's not safe to drive. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

It could be a leaky fuel injector or a restricted line. There are probably more possibilities, but that's what came to mind when I first read it. I'm sorry, but it might be expensive to fix if there's been a lot of damage.

Were you ever able to get it fixed, @Patric? It sounds to me like an overfill or leak is the culprit, but you've probably already figured it out by now.

Actually no, I pulled it into the one barn and left it. It's a pretty busy time right now so I can't really play around with it. I was hoping it would be an easy fix.
