well the answer to your question is that a tonne is about 2200 pounds well the main wheat growing in australia is on the east coast an the west coast of australia but not to much in the centre mainly destert well the typical yeild can go from about .8 tonne to around 3 tonne to the acre on dryland but depend on where you live and the rain but irrgation well the big bloke upstaris only knows stripper heads have not really gone mad nearly every one is buying 30ft, 36ft, 42ft, heads.well most big header have them macdon or honey bee an we have a tr 98 with 30ft head but is to small you can do around 10 miles (16km) an hour in a 1.2 tonne to the acre

Jo Jo Mac i'm on the east coast of Australia and croping starts about a third of the way down the country and goes inland mostly up to 200 miles. the top third is rainforrest, jungle or outback country. because of the crops we grow here there is no real call for stripper heads. john
