The rotor is out and I'm glad I took it all the way out, several bolt heads worn or completely missing and bent vanes , the drive coupling looks ok but I will replace. It took two hours to do the removal at the farm shop by myself but will I'm sure take a little more time and a few more hands to get it back in. By all means I did have some good advice and happy I found this message board.

You will need to remove that cover at the top rear of the cage to see in there to realign the gearbox shaft and coupling as someone had advised. It sounds like a good idea to hook one end of the come-along up in there to guide it better than the way I did it. While you or a helper is up there watching, they can turn the drive pulley as needed to line things up. The come-along works well, because as long as the rotor is sliding along without obstruction, you can crank right along, but if something catches or doesn't want to line up,you will feel the difference.
