Hole driver

We are looking to buy a new pole hole driver. We have to repair one fence and we are adding a fence in another pasture. What does everyone use? We have hired this out in the past.

What kind of posts are you putting in for your fence? I usually put up woven wire fencing and it's held up by T-posts. For putting in T-posts I use a T-post pounder which is basically a pipe with two handles on it, that you use to pound the post in with. You can get T-post pounders at Tractor Supply.

If you want to go old school on it, do it John Henry style. John Henry they used to lay railroad ties like that as well. Four or 5 men would swing their sledgehammers in unison to get the job done

But yeah, most farm machinery stores will sell the basic pounder.
