How To Get Rid Of Wild Carrot Weed

Does anyone know how to get rid of wild carrot weed? What herbicide would you suggest?

Where I live, we call it Queen Anne's Lace, but it really does look like a wild carrot when it's first emerging. Did you know it's also edible? Some people use the roots to make jelly. Sheep and horses will graze on it without a problem. They're biennial, so clipping them before they set seed should help get rid of them. I don't think herbicides are recommended for this type of weed.

I know people might use herbicides for it but in my opinion it’s not actually necessary. You might want to remove the weeds in the summer though, that could control the situation.
