Doesn't sound like a bad price. A pre-cut cab kit from Shoup is $165 and normally they're as cheap as you will find anywhere.

i just replaced the cab kit in my 8070 tractor got it at my dealer thru his HY-CAPACITY stuff he deals in they deal cluthes and cab kits and othe misc. stuff i dont know if they have a web site but another competitive place i think they carry combine as well is at www.tractorseats.com company is very similiar to HY-CAPACITY

What is your opinion of the Hy-Capacity kitIJ I will need a kit for my 8010 eventually. Got a Hy-capacity kit for our 7040 a few years ago and I was very disappointed. It did not fit properly - the triangles by your feet were cut at the wrong angles and the other pieces were under-size, leaving gaps when they were glued in place. I did try to stretch them, but that didn't seem to work.

everything fir real well i just had to trim down the cab post ones to the right length the one on the right fender and side was fun putting in ad i have a small gap in the top corner there didnt quite get it right when i did it i did leave them sit in place in the tractor for about 48 hours before gluing them all but the cab post pieces otherwise i liked it i have put some in ih tractors for a friend and helped with some in jd for freinds also we like the quality so far

Hey i really appreciate the tractor seat website a lot! I have been looking for that left hand John Deere cab post for a 50 series because you have to order all 4 posts if you just need the one. The Price was super good on the JD Post and when i get it i will probobly order the one for the l2 also if i like the quality. Thanks Again Brent
