Why do you want to do this. The bottom sieve is your main help to cleaning. I have driven a 1660 for a guy that did this and I was not at all please with the results in corn. I suggest that you look at the AirJet Chaffer and you can leave your bottom sieve in and you will like the results of using the AirJet. Jack

We used to do that with a 1460 some corn came out around the shaker cutouts in the side of the machine, a frame needs to be installed so that don't happen, also to counteract the out of balance situation having only one sieve results in with opposed cleaning action. Some like to use the bottom sieve as an air deflector for the chaffer.
