Right now I think the price is about 3.40 Cdn. Pretty pathetic!

So how do you expect to pay for that combine when wheat is $3.40 and corn and soybeans is less then thatIJIJ Can't grow coloured beans every year on the same farm.

Where are you locatedIJ I know of a 9760 between Ingersoll and Woodstock and another one around bayfield. Those kernals you threw out the back, were they full size or small light kernalsIJ I threw alot of them out the back with the TR88. They can go out the back rather then in the bin. We had one field go 126bu(18ac) and the other went 114bu(5.8ac). One field went 64bu. Take care, Nathan

Golly gee, I never thaught of that! Good thing you mentioned it, I am going to call the dealer and have him come and get the machine before I make any more payments. Whew...that was close! Seriously, I don't know what you are implying but with the crops we grow I will not have any trouble paying for that combine. I have always paid for custom work so that price is in my crop budget. This way I am paying for my own machine instead of someone elses and get the crop off with better timing. Besides, how do you know what I sold my wheat for, it certainly was not for $3.40. The last 3 years I have AVERAGED 105 bushels_acre on 900 acres (300_year) with my wheat crop and made good money with a crop that is regarded by most as just a rotational necessity. Thanks for the concern.

Wow, you seem to have it all figured out. With all that knowledge and smugness you should of been a politician. All the guys in my area, also in southwestern ontario seem to have capacity problems with there STS machines. They are a well built machine but haven't heard many praise them the way you have. I've seen them running and it seems like you have to line them up with a hydro pole to see if they are moving. When I ask them they say it's all they can get out of them or they start throwing over on the chaffer.

I have know idea why you are trying to be antangonistic here. I posted my results of my experience that I had with a new John deere combine on a site for John Deere combines. No BS, just the facts. You start questioning my ability to pay for it and tell me of capcity problems. I included my e-mail address so if you like you can contact me and I will give the number of my local elevator and you can call him and ask him his opionion of my machine. He recieved all the wheat and graded it himself. Maybe he can comment on my yields or my combine capacity for you. OR maybe, as your screen name implies, you are on the wrong board and your red undies are in a knot for variuos reasons. Stop hijacking my topic with your negative crap.

Note his name - converted red - I'm sure he's just jealous and unhappy about being "converted red". Good to hear your combine is working well for you. Nice to have a good crop to harvest too.
