Combines NH dealer sales programs

Here in Southern Il I have 3 NH dealers that I deal with a 40 miles of me and none of them will trade for a high dollar combine at this time. They tell me that it is to hard to sell a $85,000 used NH combine to any one when a farmer can go and get a JD 9600 or 9610 for less money. I think JD has overloaded the combine market at this time and is hurting all used combines. I was able to trade up combines before for about $10,000 a year to a newer one, but it would cost much more now. I don't know how the JD dealers can have all those combines on there lots and make any money on themIJ My NH dealers would rather not sell a combine than to have high dollar used combines on the lot and I'm not sure I can say they are wrong. BTW my bank is at 6.99% so shop around for money also or look into selling it and leaseing it back.

Just heard today that some places lent money for 6.5% variable interest rate. If you can borrow money for 7.9% fixed rate its still not too bad. There was a time when the Small Business Administration (SBA) was lending money to nature stressed farmers and farm related businesses extremly reasonable. But I don't know if they still do. I am sure you'll find something. Good luck with your TR.
