Insecticides are usually cheap but become effective and safe if handled correctly. Some of them can leave residues that become toxic to beneficial insects, fish, and so on, even building resistance in some species of insects. Have you ever explored nonchemical methods before?

I never use pesticides. They are toxic, negatively effect the environment and they loose their effectivess over time. Pesticdes work similarly to antibiotics. They may kill up to 90% of an insect population, but the 10% that survie, due to having immunity, will now reproduce and their offsrprings are resistant to the pesticide. Non-chemical methods should always be explored.
