Combines One more hose question

I used 2" ID PVC ( about 2.5" OD) cut in 2 foot sections. Worked great for me. Cost 0 Had old Pipe taken out of a barn.

2 3_4" ID will yield 3" OD.. Some say the bigger the hose the better....I wouldn't know...
