Combines Reel Speed

insert test light or Volt Ohm Meter probe in terminal down at motor plugin. When the reel speed switch is pushed forward one wire will be 12V and the other wire GROUNDED. When the switch is rocked the other way the wire that WAS 12V will NOW be grounded and the previous grounded wire wil now be hot. IF this checks out ok listen for the motor to run in the servo, engine off, key on, pushing switches. If it is motoring the clutch is out, if not the motor is burnt. Before making final decision connect the motor to a 12V power source and listen to motor both polarities. IF your reel is too fast or too slow one can remove the motor and manually rotate the pinion to gain or slow down the motor.

Rule of thumb on conventionel Gleaners is less clearance feeds better.I have wide space welded bars in F2 with 3 half round concaves in 1,3and5.Cyl @ 1_4 on gauge after zeroing.525rpm in green stem (some leafy)12% beans.Ate them good.Feeder beater rattled a couple times. It has 6 springs and is shimmed according to book.F_B in raised position with fingers at max retraction @ 5 o'clock viewed from left end.I had simalar problems to yours last year with 3 springs and fingers in center hole.
