Tractors Renting a Bulldozer?

We would like to make a pond on our farm, but we'll need a bulldozer to do the job, and we don't have one. Do you all know if there's somewhere we could rent one? One of our neighbors actually owns one, but they aren't all that friendly, so we'd rather not ask them to borrow it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The easiest option is trying your luck by talking to your neighbour. Many companies provide rental services for farm equipment; you may want to check online for something that's location-specific.

Skid steers in my area can run up to $400 for 48 hours. A bulldozer will likely be much more than that. And that's not counting the transport cost to get it out to you.

Ooh yes, it isn't cheap to rent a bulldozer, and that's why most construction companies prefer to buy, rather than rent or lease. Go for equipment that is in good health because old ones tend to operate sub-optimally, hence leading to unnecessary repair expenditure.
