Mn farmer, it looks like it should work on your 2188, checked the cd rom parts disc and all harnesses are the same. If I remember right biggest change is in the pivot area, it is heavier on the 2300 series. We have alot on in our area and they work very well. Will have to have drive installed on cornhead also.
