WASHINGTON, July 12, 2018 – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue is announcing that the government of Japan has finalized technical requirements that will allow U.S. sheep and goat exports into the country for the first time in more than 14 years.
Well considering that most US lamb is from New Zealand and Australia, I'm wondering how much is actually going to be exported? But it's nice to know the option will return. Maybe they should have Wagyu Lamb for Japan?
