Don't know what happened to my other brilliant post.... lTD's were a cross between a Ford land barge and a gleaner... No wait, it was a supposedly presold combine with all the extras thrown in at a supposedly great price, and supposedly 30 day dealer term. Supposedly sold very few.... origional concept was ltd. if memory serves m....

Tom, we looked at buying one about 6 years ago. They were only produced in 1983. The dealer told us that is was a corn_soybean model,(thats what K_S stood for)with most options, and it was a special package, very much like a custom harvest model. If this is true, I don't know. I think they also had the smaller final drives. I've seen quite a few in Illinois, and only one here in Wi. There was no N5 or N7 KS-l.T.D.'s made. I've also seen the KS-l.T.D.'s sell for a lot less than a regular N6.
