I don't think I will be growing sunflowers again. Just didn't work out for me. I have a 24', 300 series head with lucke 9" pans that I have used several years. It works good. You can run 7 mph and it goes though weeds well. We reduced the speed of the sickle through a reduction sprocket setup to save on vibration and beating the pitman to pieces. The sickle doesn't need to run near as fast in flowers any way. I have a tall back screen to keep anything from going over the back of the head. Have a few extra parts. It was last used 2 years ago. located in southern Nebraska.
