Mac, I used a loewen three years ago on a 1688. Their stock one is thicker than the original CIH and it had more bolts in the vains. It was a bugger getting the holes lined up with cage, but the mechanic said CIH cones can be difficult too. Maybe I should be working for loewen! I've been pleased with their parts. Many times at less than half cost of CIH and usually thicker metal.

We used loewen, thru Worthington Ag. A dollar is a dollar. Good luck.

Decided to go with a loewen, then found out I could not get one right away so I just built up the thin areas with hard surface rod. I have the rotor out for a new drive hub and don't want to wait as I have other projects to do in the shop. Thanks for the replies
