I’m planning to add some new pieces of furniture for my cottage. Maybe some more chairs will do. Decorations and furniture are the best part for me when building a cottage. What is the best part for you?
I have been always planning to hire someone for my farm work. But the virus paused my plan. I wonder if any of you have difficulties with your employees during these couple of months.
I used to love pinning ideas on Pinterest and I have a lot of pretty pictures pinned on my boards that are related to farming. I still enjoy doing, occasionally, but then I realise I can probably take some pictures and upload as well! Though I will need a better camera I guess!
Getting myself obsessed with wood crafting recently. Something I didn’t expect I would fall in love with. Still, I’m not good at it but so far I enjoy crafting different designs and having some satisfaction!
I got a cousin who suddenly asked me if I could teach her how to farm. Interestingly I can’t actually manage my thoughts on this. Like, I just do my own thing for my farm and my farming skills are mostly acquired from practices. So...I am quite confused when it comes to teaching my cousin...
I honestly live quite far away from the city. I mostly spend my time with the nature, which is of course not a bad thing at all. But somehow when it comes to the city centre, I can’t even stand the crowd. I just feel like I should get some balance.
I wonder for those of you who run a farm as your family business, how do you split the cost with your family? For me every time when it comes to maintenance, it’s always a hassle to talk about it, apparently because it’s about money and it costs quite a lot sometimes.
