The door that attaches to the inside sidewalls of the separator behind and beneath the straw walkers and sits on the forward lip of the straw chopper. The door serves to keep whatever comes off the straw walkers from being thrown back onto the chaffer, it must then be expelled out of the separator through the straw chopper.

If you cut any corn at all I would strongly recommend getting the corn door, because it is heavier and will with stand the cobs better.

The corn door sounds like the right choice. I raise corn, wheat, flower seed, andvegetable seed. If it works for all these, it sounds like the one to buy. Thank you.

we just call it the chopper door, i was a little confused at first. Depending on the price, it may be cheaper to buy a flimsier wheat door and then just reinforce it with a piece of sheet metal and some angle iron. JD can be kinda spendy on these things. You may want to check a salvage yard and see if you can beef a used one up for cheap$. just some thoughts. good luck.
