i'm just wondering what the 8010 will do in corn at 180 b_ac. i guess we need to realize it's in a bigger class than the 2388 but it still would be interesting to see if its still compatible with an 8 row corn without having to drive 6+ mph. HAS ANYONE HAVE PICTURES OF THE 8010 IN ACTION WHATEVER CROP IT MAY BE IJ we're up in Ontario and have not seen anything yet. our dealer says April '04 at the earliest. thanks NDB!

He is running a 25ft. Macdon draper head. I told him from the get-go he needed at least a 30 footer, I think he agrees now.

A AFX8010 was show in St-Hyacinthe Quebec at a prov farm show. The machine was already sold and will be working in soybeans and corn this fall. Give me your email address. I'll try to find the name of the guy so you could contact him for a demo.

I was listening to a Case-IH rep last week and he was asked if an 8 row head would work on this machine. He said that it would but you had better be in some real good corn. He recommended the 12 row head and commented that once the new Grand Island plant is running a 16 row head is going to be built.

I had a chance to see an 8010 in corn last Friday. In 22% moisture 180 bu corn with the 2412 head it was at 4.5 to 5 mph. Real nice machine in corn. I posted pictures at http:__talk.newagtalk.com_forums_ToyTalk_posts_5200.html

Some thing not right. I drove a 8010 with a 12 row head this fall in 175+bpa corn at 20% and you could go as fast as you wanted with it, avg about 6mph I think. Seemed like it had a lot of power. Very clean sample and not a thing left on the ground. New Holland CR970 was like to also. Just my .02 Ilnh
