Per your alert---Haven't seen any spiders broken loose from the shaft as yet, but I have found several 9600 models with twisted cylinders.  They've all been twisted about 1_2" with the left side leading.  As nearly as I can figure, only 2 things could cause this.   Inaccuracy when the keyways in the shaft  were milled, or the cylinder shaft is twisted a little bit from usage, since the spiders all check out OK.   Only broken spiders I've seen were in a 9500 where a cylinder filler plate came loose.  Considerable other peripheral damage, also.
