Combines 9660wts

The way the press release is worded, it seems they may not be bringing over any corn_soybean models; - just the small grain versions. It also seems they're not available in the North American market as yet. Too bad the 9550's (walker version) won't be available any longer, as they make-up the largest proportion of combine sales for my local dealer.

is it so hard to replace the Concave and make the changes by your self to run in Corn or beans. here in europe do we run only smallgrain and change over. you guys will be impresed what we did with the 9600 until we had the 9660 Walker right for our Conditions. It does the same Excellent Job in Corn than the 9650 or the Maximizer. We Harvest up to 12 tonnes a Hectar with these Combines. Would be no wounder to outperform your American Walkers with the 9660 WTS. Here in Germany is a test arround where the 9660 WTs can handle 34 t troughput an hour easy at max 0.5% to 1.o% losses by a 110bu yeald. That comes close do the STS in the US.

i farm in central manitoba, canada.had a 9660wts here for 1 day in 2004.was the only one in canada for trial.jd could not find a 30 foot head so they ran it with a 36.feeding more on one side on conventional caused it to throw over on one side.ran it beside 9600 with 30 foot headers in 50 bus.wheat.wts kept the same speed as our 9600 covering 6 feet more.6feet on a 30 foot header would be 20% more .we thought it was pretty good.switched to 45bus. canola,30foot swaths.it was not any better than 9600.our limit in canola is usually over the sieves.would i buy itIJvery good possibility

The WTS machines are here in the states. I saw one sitting at a dealer's lot in the new machines row. I don't know if it came from Europe or not, but it did have the WTS lettering on the side. This was about a month ago. tj

I guess they must be bringing a few over. I know there's been one in western Canada on demo for awhile. My local dealer is still bringing in the regular 9660 walkers (non-wts).

175bu_acre wheat is easily achieveable here in the UK, Recent best year was 2003 where most of our wheat made 180bu_acre. You guy's can grow the big yields of corn,we can grow the big yields of wheat!!!!

Depents how wet the straw is,but in normal Conditions we go in 4-5 to Weat or Barley with a 25 ft Plattform between 6 and 9Km_h. Our 9660 got 325 HP and the next Model over them got 355hp.And you need that much Horsepower for our Conditions. greetings 9880STS
