Agco is not seeking wage concessions, are having a good year, are actually still hiring in places. So, if mgmt can perform - no matter how far their salaries are from mine - who am I to say 'too much' - still not close to Deere's guys or CNH as a group in total pay. We could have a jerk who knows not his rectum from a posthole who would work for minimum wage and wreck the train - that would not be much of a bargain. Yup it always po'd me to see Ratlif's 1,000,000 pay -but then he put it all on the line to start a company from nothing - he deserved the reward. As to parts prices , when steel went up, it takes at least a year to flush through the system . Right now there are renegotiations on a lot of raw material that has come down . What about fertilizerIJ Dealers, in order to assure a supply to us, had to stick the neck out and order - look what happen to N. What about the price of gas vs. crudeIJ All these things really tick us off. What to doIJ Just like you are doing - complain and take it or leave it. life ain't fair huhIJ I am the greatest complainer of us all I think - at least I have the experience
BTW Agco is the n 2 mfg of farm machinery in the world. CNH still has more total sales , but they have a construction side.
