No, switches are not the same. Switch in the Tattletale IV is a double pole,single throw with the swing-in and swing-out poles isolated from each other. Need to know which style switch you have replaced with. As for the beeper continually sounding, have you pushed the test button to see if all three monitors(II,III,IV) light upIJ You will have to turn key to acc. and turn on sep. and header clutch switch to see if shaft monitos lights on the 84' and up. If one of the above Tattletale monitors does not light then you will need to check fuse for that particular monitor. With the GM style fuses you should be able to back probe the fuse on both sides to check for power on the "Warning Sys.","Aux. Warning Sys.", and the "Shaft Monitor". All three have a common alarm line. Grounded wires from mice chewing or stuck relays are most common problem. You can have your module tested at nearest dealer to make sure that it is fuctioning properly. Hyper Harvest II
