Cat vs Deere We ran both machines in 170 bu corn at 15% moisture. To start out the Cat loss more at the head than the Deere. As far as ground speed they both could run 7 MPH with 12 row corn heads When we were unloading on the go the Cat would power out befor Deere. The other thing is we felt the Deere would be more comfortable at the end of the day.
